Placing an order for a box currently on display in the gallery is easy and safe. Simply click the link "Order Box" anywhere in the Gallery. Provide the Title of the box, what wood it is made of, and the price of the box. Ordering is secure, and you may pay by a variety of means. I like a particular design but would prefer a different wood - is it possible to place a Custom Order?
Yes. You may choose any combination of design, wood type(s), interior color felt, if desired, and size. Depending upon availibility and design constraints, you may also have the option to choose from a variety of draw pulls, stone & gem decorations,as well as colored dyes and stains. Please note that there is a 40% nonrefundable deposit on Custom Orders.
Can I order two of the exact same box?
Fortunately, no! Each box is unique onto itself - just like you! However, you can order similiar boxes of the same design and wood.
The boxes are so smooth, how did they get that way?
Each box has been sanded completely by hand, using the finest grit available. Unlike other boxes, Mt. Pleasant Woodworks boxes are sealed inside as well as out to prevent moisture damage and draw sticking. Mt. Pleasant Woodworks uses a special oil to bring out each pieces rich colors while offering the highest protection. Each piece receives six coats and between each, is placed on a buffing wheel of fine steal wool. Only patience and dedication to providing the best in quality boxes will bring about that satin finish.
How will my box be shipped?
Boxes are shipped through UPS. You will be provided with a tracking # via email, so you may monitor its progress. Shipping charges for within the United States are $8.95 for the first item and $6.95 for each additional item. Shipping rates outside the United States will differ. Please contact us for shipping rates.
Our wood products are carefully packaged to protect them during shipment. Please note, while we are not responsible for damage that may occur during shipping, we would be happy to provide shipping insurance at a small additional cost.
What is Mt. Pleasant Woodwork's return policy?
In order to refund the purchase price of a non-custom box, the box must be returned, undamaged, within 2 weeks of receipt of delivery. Custom Orders are non-returnable. Sorry, shipping costs are non-refundable.
